About the Event
Join us on Saturday, July 12th from 9am-1:00pm at the Durango Rec Center Eolus Room for a hands-on training and workshop designed to equip participants with:
An understanding of the different 'levels' of government and the ways that they operate
Training in Power Mapping -- a tool used to determine where the levers are for achieving the change you are wanting to make and the drivers that motivate that lever....and thus inform your strategy
Roadmap for local policy creation -- An interactive activity where you will learn how to take something from 'we've identified a community issue' to 'we've identified a policy solution', to 'we are advancing our policy issue' to 'yay, the issue passed, how do we need to stay involved during rule making?'
