Voces de comunidad workgroup
what we do
We are a diverse group of Latino leaders who connect, equip, and
empower community members to make the change they want to see.
leadership development

-
We promote, prepare, and support people in pursuing leadership and representative roles on committees, boards, and other decision-making spaces where Latino voices and perspectives are valued and needed.

-
We strengthen digital confidence through training in essential technology tools, including email, calendar management, and virtual collaboration platforms.
community participation & representation
-
We engage in public policy and advocacy efforts that align with our mission, including initiatives such as Healthy School Meals for All (HSMA), Proposition 1A for Child Care, and other campaigns that impact our communities.

-
After members are appointed to a committee, board, or decision-making body, we offer ongoing individualized support to help them effectively fulfill their responsibilities and thrive in their leadership roles.

“It’s valuable to see how each person contributes their ideas, experiences, and talents to improve the group. Collaboration within Voces creates a space where everyone can be heard and respected, and you can see everyone’s commitment to bringing about positive change in the community.”
