SMALL business insights & policy recommendations: a report
In 2026, Cities Work (at the Institute for Justice), the City of Durango, and The Good Food Collective partnered to explore ways to make it cheaper, faster, and simpler to start and grow a small business in Durango.

Through local entrepreneur roundtables, meetings with City departments, and in-depth regulatory research, Cities Work identified key barriers and opportunities for improvement.
