Due to weather and road conditions, we are delaying the start of this event until 11:30. If you are a wholesale food producer in SW Colorado, we invite you to join us for this gathering to get connected to resources, new market opportunities, and help inform shared infrastructure projects!

About the Event
Join us at our upcoming SW Colorado Wholesale Agricultural Gathering (SWAG) on Friday, 2/9 from 9am-3:00pm at the Mancos Community Center in Mancos, CO. Lunch will be provided and gas cards are available to support the cost of travel. The aim of this convening is to bring together ranchers, producers, and food manufacturers from around our region who sell into wholesale markets or are interested in selling into wholesale markets to highlight three important topics:
- Meet with local School Food Service Directors to to discuss 2024 local purchasing opportunities
- Inform early explorations on how to address SW Colorado’s Aggregation, Distribution, Storage, and Light Processing Needs
- Learn about upcoming funding and resource opportunities, as well as, the technical assistance available to help you access it.
As an added bonus, USDA representatives will be on hand to sign up farmers & ranchers interested in becoming a SNAP Retailer (i.e. interested in being able to accept SNAP/EBT currency historically referred to as ‘food stamps’). To support your enrollment, Market Link staff will be on hand to connect you with free Point of Sales equipment.
