We actively seek input from entrepreneurs through regular surveys and community needs assessments.  We take what we learn about our community's needs to offer education through workshops, trainings, and networking events.

food safety certification

Certified Food Protection Manager Trainings are now offered in Spanish, thanks to our partnership with CSU/La Plata Extension, and La Plata County Public Health.

In 2024, the pass rate for this certification among Spanish-speakers increased from 10% to 54%
