southwest community food alliance
A network of food access organizations, government agencies, community members, and other partners working together to improve food security across Montezuma and Dolores Counties and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Nation. The Alliance’s shared work is rooted in a commitment to eliminating hunger, promoting dignity, and building a healthier, more resilient community. We’re convened by The Good Food Collective.
food security action framework
Developed by the SWCFA in 2026, the Food Security Action Framework brings together the priorities, ideas, and experiences of people and organizations working across the region to address food insecurity. It identifies the greatest needs and opportunities for collective action, and provides a shared guide for where the region can focus its energy, resources, and partnerships. The framework will ground SWCFA’s regional food security work over the next one to three years, while remaining a living document that can evolve as community needs and opportunities change.
