About the Event
Join The Good Food Collective and the Durango Tool Library for this wonderful community tradition! Bring your friends, your family, and your picking pants, and let's head out to area orchards to bring in this year's apple harvest. Each session, we will use a combination of shaking, climbing, and poles to harvest the apple abundance in our region. We will turn the apples into fresh-pressed apple cider on Saturday, October 8th from 9-12, at the 14th Annual Apple Days Festival! This beloved event features interactive cider pressing, apple pie eating contests, children’s activities, music, vendors, and more. Free and Open to all! No experience or equipment necessary!
